As my circle of friends and I navigate the journey of life into our 40s (and soon 50s), we find ourselves faced with a multitude of decisions. From career choices to relationships, from health to personal growth, these choices can sometimes seem overwhelming. In this blustering tornado we call life, there's a powerful guiding force that is often overlooked – our own intuition, a combination of listening to our bodies and our hearts.


Tuning Into Your Body

Our bodies are incredible sources of wisdom. They communicate with us through subtle signals and not-so-subtle ones, too. That tight knot in your stomach when something doesn't feel right? It's your body telling you to pause and reconsider. The exhilaration and energy when you're doing something you love? That's your body giving you a resounding yes.

Listening to your body isn't just about physical sensations; it's about emotional and mental cues as well. Feel anxious about a decision? Your body is sending you a message. Feel at peace with another? That's a sign too.

Embracing Your Heart's Whispers

Your heart knows what you truly desire and value. It's the keeper of your passions, dreams, and authentic self. Often, societal expectations and external pressures can drown out the gentle whispers of your heart. But when you take a moment to silence the noise and tune in, you'll hear its guidance. The eternally reassuring beat that guides you through the best and hardest of times.
